The MG VDI III Bosch Interface is designed for use with the Vehicle Diagnose System (VDS 3) and SAIC Integrated Program System (SIPS) software to Diagnose and program the latest SAIC, MG and Maxus manufactured vehicles.
Diagnostic equipment and software suitable for MG Products can be divided into two categories, VDS, diagnostic software, and SIPS, SAIC Motor Online Programming. Both systems are linked and use dedicated software but share hardware.

VDS

SIPS
SAIC Motor Integrated Programming System (SIPS) contains the following functions:

- Control unit reprogramming (calibration updates)
- Control unit configuration
