Initial Training – What You’ll Need to Prepare
To make the most of your training session and avoid delays, please ensure you have the following in place before we begin:
You will require the following during your training session:
Stable Internet Connection
Ideally, over 15MBPS. You can run a SpeedTest using this link. If it’s under, please let a member of our team know.
Direct Internet Connection
Ensuring that your network has no antivirus or blocking firewall.
If you’re not sure about this you may need to contact your network administrator, they’ll know what’s what.
Battery Support Unit
Ensure it’s suitable for the vehicle brand we will be training on.
Don’t have Battery Support? We highly recommend every workshop use battery support. Feel free to give us a call on the number below or you can check the Battery Support Units on our website. Minimum spec is 14.2v up to 110Amps.
NOTE: This is not a battery charger.
Debit or Credit Card
Should you need to buy credits or an annual subscription.Don’t be tempted to purchase anything before training as manufacturers do not refund for the wrong subscriptions. We’ll cover the correct subscription during the training session.
A Vehicle
Suitable to train on and matches the tool you want to use.
Sounds obvious, however, you would be surprised how many times workshops try to use an unsuitable vehicle. Examples of this would be: too old for software, too new, not Euro 5, has parts missing so won’t communicate, not in range of the workshop Wi-Fi network, etc.
