Description
A new diagnostic interface, the Mazda VCM2. For use with the Integrated Diagnostics Software (IDS) and also the Newer MDARS software. With this tool, you can provide complete dealership level diagnostics for Mazda vehicles that are 2013 and newer.
Additionally, the VCM2 tool now has the ability to work wirelessly with your laptop or PC without any hardware or software upgrades. This new function allows expert technicians to carry out vehicle diagnostics and repairs remotely by simply connecting up the VCM2 tool to the vehicle.
The diagnostic tool provides coverage for the new Customer Flight Recorder (CFR). The CFR is an upgrade of the Vehicle Data Recorder (VDR). Essentially, it’s a cable enabling the VCM2 to record data. This is extremely useful for technicians and encourages increased efficiency when carrying out diagnostics for intermittent problems.

Vehicle Support
IDS software (not included) is used for all current vehicles up to 2019
The software MDARS (not included) is used on Mazda 7th generation vehicles, starting with the new models stated below:

- Software subscriptions are available annually and run from January to December
