Following years of industry demand, Renault now offers CLIP software through a time-based subscription model, allowing independent workshops to access official manufacturer diagnostics without requiring dealer franchise status.
Paired with the latest RNM ADT VI3 VCI, this solution delivers full coverage across both CAN-based Euro 5 vehicles and newer DoIP-based Renault architectures, ensuring compatibility from older models through to the newest Renault Group platforms.
Dealer-Level Coverage Across Multiple Generations
Renault’s diagnostic ecosystem operates using two complementary software platforms running on the same laptop and interface:
- CLIP Software – Designed primarily for CAN-based Euro 5 Renault vehicles
- ADT Software – Designed for newer DoIP-based Renault vehicle architectures
Both systems operate using the RNM ADT VI3 VCI, providing a complete and seamless diagnostic solution across generations.
The ADT VI3 interface supports configuration, module programming, gateway communication and advanced diagnostics on Renault’s latest network architectures.
