After a decade of service, Microsoft is ending support of Windows 7 on 14th January 2020. This means that any device still running Windows 7 after this date will not receive any security updates and will be vulnerable security issues, viruses and malware. A very important point regarding the Windows 7 end of life is that any businesses that don’t upgrade risk breaching GDPR compliance. Breaching GDPR carries hefty penalties that can not only damage a business but potentially close them down. And who wants fines?
We know this sounds like impending doom and we’re sorry! But it is a very important issue that you need to take action with now rather than let it slide and deal with any consequences later on. Plus, it’s not a massive job and we’ll handle it all for you. No brainer.
